During the Independence day break, I made a trip to Rreshen. It is about 300 leke from Tirana. It’s up north, about 20 mins away from Rubik. The city is dominated by Catholics. The weather was cold but not snow yet. It didn’t have a different feel, it’s just a typical albanian town. Unlike in Rubik-it has some charm that felt different when I visit. Rreshen does have a nice lokal (cafe). As I was entering to Rreshen, it looked a little industrial.
Rubik does have the best pilaf restaurant in all of Albania!
