It seems that the new seating arrangement was a success. Most students enjoyed it. It is more comfortable for the teacher as well. This motivates me to buy more school supplies to improve fun learning experience! The first lesson with this seating arrangement made learning fun. The arrangement created five groups of students, each students were asked to create their group name. They began to compete with other groups by asking questions as the chosen group answered. Students with stronger skills in English were encouraged to work with students with weak English skills. This, I hope, will improve the “weak” students. However, I noticed on the first day of this, the strong students did not include the weak student into their discussion within that group.
