Field Trip to the U.S. Embassy!

I coordinated a field trip for ten students and three colleagues to visit the U.S. Embassy and to meet Donald Lu. The students were excited and my colleagues were pleased that I was able to connect with the embassy. I feel like my service here is done!

After going through passport checks, we were escorted to a meeting room, sat down and waited for Ambassador Donald Lu. A few moments later, Lu showed up and everyone stood up. They were excited and nervous. Students asked questions and Lu answered. Finally all of us took a group picture with him and went back to the room for another talk with the other assistant about school opportunity in America. Finally, we bid the embassy workers farewell and went our merry ways back home.
